Bradenton Herald の3月19日付の記事のよると、スティーヴン･キングと作家"Lauren Groff" との対談が予定されているとのこと。

この対談は"Lauren Groff"を紹介する目的で行われる。スティーヴン･キングは"Lauren Groff"の新著"The Monsters of Templeton" に、"I was sorry to see this rich and wonderful novel come to an end."とコメントを寄せていて、また Groff の短編はキングが編集し昨年刊行された"The Best American Short Stories 2007" に含まれている。
この対談は今月3月27日、サウスフロリダ大学(University of South Florida)で午後6時半からが予定されている。チケット代は25ドル、代金には"Lauren Groff"の本、おそらく"The Monsters of Templeton"も含まれる。"The Monsters of Templeton"は定価24ドル95セント、Amazon.comだと16ドル47セント(3月19日現在)だから、実質10ドルぐらいの負担か。
対談の後は、"Lauren Groff"のサイン会も予定されているが、スティーヴン･キングはサインしない模様。
"Lauren Groff" は現在29歳。"The Monsters of Templeton"は"Lauren Groff"にとって初めて単独で出版される自著のようだ。
